The Re-birth of MIGC...
After 15 years of playing 72 hole strokeplay events
as the MIGC majors, it has been unanimously decided
to drop the format in favour of playing monthly one-day
at better venues. It has been getting harder each year
for members to commit to the busy schedule that the
old format demanded and with numbers dwindling changes
needed to be made.
The first event of the 2006/07 season will be a one
day stableford competition held at Wildwood Golf Club
(www.wildwoodgolf.co.uk)
on Saturday 18th November. This will be the first qualifying
event for the 2007 Ryder Cup.
